Introducing Riverdale Station

Riverdale Station is a station on the Metro North Commuter railway, located in the northwest of the Bronx, a borough of New York City. The station is located just off the Hudson river, and offers astounding views of the river and New Jersey Palisades on the far side. As soon as I'm able, I'll put a photo from the station up in my site header, sharing it's beauty with you all.

This blog is my technical home, where I'll be documenting my journey towards becoming a web application developer. I've been bitten by the Web 2.0 bug and, inspired by Rails and Ruby I have decided that I can, in fact, build my vision. I have some proprietary applications planned, and some ideas for hosted applications I'd like to offer the public. Now I just have to build them.

Along the way, I'll be participating in some open-source projects - giving back to the community - in gratitude for the all projects that have encouraged me to undertake this journey. These projects will have their blog-home here.
